Office Location:
HVMG VIMC-Beaver 500 Sharon Road Beaver, PA 15009.
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday daylight, no weekends, no major holidays. Varying shifts within the hours of 6:45am - 5:30pm (specifics discussed at interview) Coordination of patient information to include, but not limited to, referral process, check-in and discharge process, insurance verification & registration, pre-certifications and authorizations, scheduling of appointments for tests, procedures, and follow up. Performs other physician office based clerical/administrative duties as needed. Required High school diploma or GED and 1 year of experience working in an office or healthcare environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of medical terminology, computer applications, and electronic health records, as well as proficiency with standard office equipment. Ability to communicate clearly and in a professional manner with staff and patients. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred Associates degree. Advanced computer skills.
