Full Job Description Role Overview:

An Advanced Practitioner is sought to join a Palliative Medicine team, providing comprehensive inpatient care at a medical center.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients, utilizing evidence-based practices. Accurately document medical information, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate therapies. Adjust or discontinue medications as needed and communicate with the healthcare team regarding patient management. Perform procedures within the scope of nurse practitioner practice. Act as a patient advocate by providing safe, ethical care, health education, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Follow organizational policies, guidelines, and meet departmental goals. This role primarily supports inpatient Palliative Medicine needs in a clinical environment.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certification is required.
