Job Description

As the Medical Receptionist in our fast-paced retinal ophthalmology practice, you are the gateway to our patient care team. You are the first face patients see when they walk through our doors and the last person they interact with before they leave. You hold the unique responsibility of shaping the first and last impression of our practice, establishing an environment of trust, efficiency, and compassionate care. This role is far more than an administrative position; it is the backbone of our daily operations. In our busy clinic, your ability to multitask, manage patient flow, and communicate effectively directly dictates the efficiency of our clinical technicians and physicians. Duties include:
Scheduling patient appointments Answering multi-line phone system Documenting patient information in the patient medical record Verification and entering of insurance information Insurance authorizations Enrollment and verification of assistance programs Daily reconciliation Other duties as assigned Multiple office locations (Farrell, Clarion, Meadville, Erie), MUST be willing to travel Salary based on experience, education and skill set
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
