Job Description
Under the supervision of the Administrator, this position serves as the "face" of the Surgery Center. The incumbent will be responsible for greeting patients, family/friends and others who visit the Center. The primary responsibilities include registering patients for their procedure, making daily charts, answering the phone, opening and sorting mail, handling medical records requests, verifying patient insurance information, caring for the front lobby area. Monitor office supplies levels and inform the Materials Manager when they need to be reordered. Coordinate appropriate repairs. As time permits, assist Administrator or Director of Nursing with various projects.
