Essential Functions:
- + Conducts patient interview to collect accurate financial, biographic and demographic information for patient visits.
Common Expectations:
- + Types and/or compiles correspondence and reports, photocopies information, files information, answers the telephone, takes messages and directs calls.

Minimum Education:
- + High School Diploma or GED Required + Diploma Program Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training (Professional Medical, Administrative or Business School) Preferred
Work Experience:
- + Less than 1 year 3 - 6 months front desk or physician office experience Required
Courses and Training:
- + Customer Service and Safety Reporting Training within 90 days Required and + Introduction to Medical terminology within 180 days Required and + Insurance and Compliance Training within 1 year Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Knowledge of medical office operations to include reception, billing and insurance and general office skills. + Computer skills.
