Completing this step is required as part of the application process and helps us get to know you better. Schedule & CompensationFull-Time Position- 40 hours a weekCompensation Range starts at $28 per hourJob DescriptionThe Admissions Coordinator welcomes residents needing skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long term care on a beautiful continuing care retirement community (CCRC) campus. This role serves as a direct liaison with hospitals and other community referral sources to support residents and family members during times of transition. Driven to provide the best in customer service, the successful candidate is detail-focused, organized, and committed to the best. From room readiness, tours, and move-in coordination, to gathering clinical information and conducting insurance re-authorizations, the role works to meet individual and family needs while working as part of a team to achieve normal occupancy goals.
QualificationsExperience:
• Minimum one (1) year experience in long-term care, preferable in an Admissions or Social Services capacity or related field with equivalent customer service experience. •A working knowledge of Medicare and insurances, and of state and federal requirements for admissions to Skilled Nursing preferred.
Education:
• Bachelor's or Associates Degree welcome to apply, in Social Services, Business, Gerontology or other related area or equivalent experience preferred.
