$18 - $19/hour (Based on experience) Duties Answering patient calls and handling inquiries promptly, following protocols and service standards. Scheduling appointments (in person or by phone), confirming details, and rescheduling or canceling as needed. Managing patient arrival and departure activities — collecting copays, obtaining insurance cards, signatures, and referrals, and updating records in the EMR. Communicating wait times and patient flow to both patients and staff Verifying patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and benefits Obtaining pre-authorizations, referrals, and coordinating benefits Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local Maintaining patient confidentiality and safety Anticipating patient needs and resolving issues promptly Building positive relationships with patients, visitors, and staff #
