Job Description Summary The Associate Director, Patient Services Program Management will manage day-to-day operations and performance analytics for Sandoz patient support, copay, and specialty pharmacy fee-for-service programs. Responsibilities include overseeing program vendors, analyzing copay utilization and financial performance, identifying cost and patient access trends, and translating data into actionable recommendations for program optimization. The role will also ensure accurate and timely reporting, monitor budgets and forecasts, address operational challenges, and maintain compliance with all legal, regulatory, quality, pharmacovigilance, and program requirements. The Associate Director will collaborate regularly with Brand, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Safety, Quality, Data Management, and other internal stakeholders. Position Location:
This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters site. Our Sandoz flexible hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of their monthly workday remotely. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely. Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation. U.S. Work visa sponsorship not available for this role. Must have U.S. work authorization. Major Accountabilities /Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:- Lead the day-to-day operations and performance management of assigned patient support, copay, and specialty pharmacy fee-for-service programs.
- Analyze copay claims, enrollment, utilization, patient out-of-pocket costs, program spend, and other key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Develop recurring and ad hoc copay analyses that support program design, offer structure, forecasting, budget management, and mitigation strategies.
- Translate complex copay and patient services data into clear insights and recommendations for Brand, Finance, Market Access, and senior leadership.
- Partner with copay, hub, and specialty pharmacy vendors to ensure data is accurate, complete, timely, and suitable for business decision-making.
- Monitor program performance against established service levels, budgets, forecasts, business rules, and compliance requirements.
- Identify emerging utilization patterns, financial risks, claim anomalies, and operational issues, and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
- Support the evaluation and implementation of copay program changes, including financial modeling, business rationale development, and post-implementation monitoring.
- Develop and manage monitoring programs for Patient Services and Specialty Pharmacy programs.
- Communicate program performance, monitoring outcomes, risks, and recommended actions to key stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Perform all responsibilities in accordance with the Sandoz Code of Conduct and applicable policies
