Over the past seven years our practice has been overwhelmed by the community need and we have expanded to a group of over 15 clinicians who are each experts in their areas of practice. We help clients navigating life with experiences of a variety of diagnoses and circumstances, some of which include: PTSD, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, OCD, parenting, postpartum and perinatal mental health, parenting, and grief. Our goal is to provide therapy from an informed social justice and liberation lens. We celebrate neurodivergence, embrace body liberation, are LGBTQ2IA+ and life affirming and care deeply for our community. We believe that every person deserves access to mental health care and we aim to provide it.
What we are looking for:
We seek to hire a full-time intake coordinator to add to our team that is passionate about helping others, providing friendly and kind client care, and embodies our values around social justice and compassionate mental health care for all. This position will be Monday-Friday; 9am-5pm with a one hour lunch.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Book new appointments and provide scheduling assistance for clients
  • Efficiently respond to email and phone inquiries in regards to services
  • Screen clients and coordinate care with appropriate therapists
  • Provide resources and referrals and manage a referral list
  • Check insurance benefits and maintain insurance data
  • Assist with various billing responsibilities
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a medical office or mental health setting is preferred
  • Ability and desire to learn electronic health systems such as SimplePractice
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and respond efficiently and kindly to client inquiries
