Patient Service Representative Job Description:
PrideStaff is currently working with a local medical group seeking a Patient Service Representative to join its team. The Patient Service Representative will provide customer service to the company's Medicare and Medicaid members to ensure patient satisfaction. The ideal Patient Service Representative candidate is bilingual in Spanish and has customer service experience or experience in a clinical setting. The Patient Service Representative position is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Miami, FL.
Patient Service Representative Job Responsibilities:
Answer Telephone Calls (70-100+ Inbound Calls Daily) Timely & Efficiently Deliver High-Touch, White-Glove Customer Service to all Patients with Empathy & Professionalism; Resolve Concerns with Compassion & a Solutions-Oriented Approach Navigate Multiple Systems Simultaneously, Including EHR Platforms, Scheduling Systems, Insurance Verification Tools & Telehealth Applications Schedule appointments, Coordinate Follow-up Care & Assist Patients with Healthcare Navigation Verify & Update Patient Demographics, Insurance Information & Medical Records Accurately Call Patients Regarding Missed Appointments to Improve Services & Customer Experience Produce a "No Shows" Report to be Provided to Upper Management Make "Welcome" calls to Inquire About the Level of Satisfaction with the Medical Group's Services and Current Health Plan Produce daily Reports Regarding Call Session Progress Communicate Important Patient Updates & Concerns to Providers & Clinical Teams Promptly Maintain Detailed & Accurate Documentation While Ensuring HIPAA Compliance at all Times Other duties as
Assigned Patient Service Representative Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Must Have Prior Experience in Customer Service; Experience with Seniors, Medicare Patients, or Healthcare is Preferred Call Center Experience is a PLUS Must be Proficient in Using MS Office Programs & Comfortable Navigating Multiple Systems & Platforms in Real Time Knowledge of Medical Terminology is a PLUS Knowledge of EHR is Preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is Required Be Able to Work Independently & as Part of a Team Within Parameters of Instructions Given, Prescribed Routines & Standard Accepted Practices Must have Excellent Problem Solving Skills, be Detail-Oriented & Able to Manage Competing Priorities Must have Excellent Communication Skills both Verbal & Written Have a Passion for Helping Others and for
