Remote Admissions Coordinator Layton, UT 84040 Hybrid work Part-time Part-time Admission Coordinator (Part-Time) White Dove Detox - Layton, UT Before anything else, this role comes down to a few non-negotiables: You must be excellent with people, able to think critically in real time, and able to follow things all the way through. This means handling calls with families in crisis, working through insurance and logistics, and making sure admissions actually happen, not just get started. We need someone who does not drop the ball. This is a part-time position with set hours (to be determined), with potential for additional coverage as needed. About the Role This position is the front line of our admissions process. You will be the first point of contact for clients and families, guiding them from initial call through admission. This includes gathering information, working through insurance, coordinating with our clinical team, and ensuring a smooth transition into detox. What You'll Be Doing Answering incoming calls and building immediate trust with clients and families Assessing potential clients and gathering relevant history Working through insurance verification and communicating clearly with billing Coordinating admissions with medical staff and ensuring nothing falls through Following each case from first call to admission, staying organized and on top of details Communicating expectations and next steps clearly to clients and families Maintaining relationships with referral sources What We're Looking For Strong customer service skills, warm, confident, and able to connect quickly Critical thinking skills, able to assess situations and make decisions in real time High follow-through, you finish what you start and don't let things slip Organized and detail-oriented, especially with multiple moving pieces Calm under pressure, able to handle emotional or urgent situations Experience in healthcare, admissions, or behavioral health is a plus This role is a big one. The right person will make a direct impact on whether someone gets help or not.
