Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Contribute your expertise as a Pharmacist in a dynamic hospital setting that supports a community of 200 beds. This travel opportunity, based in Ogden, UT, offers a rewarding contract position with an ASAP start and a 13-week duration, with the possibility to extend.
Location:
Ogden, UT Schedule:
2nd shift: 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday)
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize patient drug therapy Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff on medication management Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems effectively to support pharmacy operations
Qualifications:
Active Utah Pharmacist license Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience preferred Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations and automated systems This position is ideal for a Pharmacist eager to apply clinical skills in a supportive hospital environment while experiencing the benefits of travel work.
