Acute Care Physical Therapist | Charleston SC | PSLF Position Highlights Acute care at a non-profit Level Trauma hospital system (Charleston SC) Open to new grads and experienced acute PTs, mentorship built in Broad caseload: ICU, PICU, trauma, neuro, post-surgical, total joint, med/surg Student loan repayment program plus relocation assistance PSLF eligible ~10 patients/day, generous treatment times, no rigid quotas Flexible scheduling (4x10s, 5x8s), minimal weekends, 20 days PTO About the Role Nealy Pierce is partnering with a respected non-profit hospital system in the Charleston area to hire a full-time acute care PT. It's a permanent, hospital-based role ideal for experienced acute PTs or clinicians transitioning into the setting from other hospital backgrounds. You'll carry a broad caseload with PICU exposure (rare in most acute PT roles), join interdisciplinary rounds with physicians and nursing, and cross-train across units for versatile skill development. Structured onboarding and mentorship support new grads and transitioning clinicians alike, with CE reimbursement and a retirement match rounding it out. Qualifications & Requirements DPT or MPT from an accredited program Active or pending South Carolina PT license New grads and experienced acute PTs welcome Strong communicator and team collaborator NCS, CCS, or other specialty cert a plus but not required Passion for hospital-based, evidence-informed acute care
