Outpatient Services:

Clinical Counselor needed to work in the Community-Based Treatment Services Department to provide biopsychosocial assessments to varied populations in the office. This position may include the provision of additional clinical services such as individual or group counseling to a primarily adult population and the potential for evening hours. The hourly rate will be determined by qualifications and experience. This position requires a master's degree in counseling or related area; experience in the substance use field preferred; Certification and S.C. State licensure to provide counseling services preferred; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. If not already certified, applicants must be eligible to be certified as an Addictions Counselor in South Carolina. BHSPC provides assistance in obtaining certification as well as on-site licensure supervision for LPC and Social Workers. BHSPC is an approved site for NHSC for student loan forgiveness.
