We are seeking a friendly, energetic patient care coordinator to join our fast-growing optometric practice. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, out-going, organized, and has exceptional patient/customer service skills. Previous optical experience is highly preferred but not required.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Checking patients in upon arrival.
• Verifying and obtaining patients' insurance and vision care plan benefits.
• Placing contact lens orders
• Submitting insurance claims for exams.
• Assisting patients with contact lens training.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area.

The ideal candidate is personable and cheerful while maintaining a professional demeanor. Candidates should have good communication, organizational skills, and be a team player who can multitask and be flexible. High attention to detail and the ability to problem solve is a must.
