Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, energetic patient care coordinator to join our fast-growing optometric practice. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, out-going, organized, and has exceptional patient/customer service skills. Previous optical experience is highly preferred but not required.
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
  • Checking patients in upon arrival.
  • Verifying and obtaining patients' insurance and vision care plan benefits.
  • Placing contact lens orders
  • Submitting insurance claims for exams.
  • Assisting patients with contact lens training.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area.
The ideal candidate is personable and cheerful while maintaining a professional demeanor. Candidates should have good communication, organizational skills, and be a team player who can multitask and be flexible. High attention to detail and the ability to problem solve is a must. Compensation will be based on experience with opportunity for growth. We offer paid vacation and holidays. Open half day on Fridays and no weekend hours! Please do not call office directly.
