Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable RN/LPN Admissions Coordinator to manage the patient intake process efficiently and compassionately. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, medical office experience, and a thorough understanding of health regulation policies. As an integral part of our team, you will facilitate seamless communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Duties Coordinate patient admissions by collecting and verifying necessary documentation and medical histories. Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective patients and their families, providing clear information about services and procedures. Utilize patient management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems to accurately input data and maintain confidential records. Communicate effectively via phone and client communication channels to schedule appointments, follow up on inquiries, and address concerns promptly. Ensure adherence to health regulation policies, including maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws. Support medical administrative functions such as insurance verification, billing support, and appointment scheduling. Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient transitions from referral to admission while maintaining high customer service standards. Experience Candidates should have prior experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting, with a focus on patient management or administrative support. Familiarity with medical terminology, health insurance processes, and electronic health records (EHR) systems is essential. Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and excellent phone communication abilities are required. Knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient confidentiality and medical administrative procedures will be highly valued. Previous experience with EMR/EHR platforms and client communication enhances candidacy for this role.
