JOB SUMMARY
The Receptionist serves as a welcoming first point of contact for patients, families, visitors, and staff entering the healthcare facility. This position provides accurate information, directions, and assistance while helping individuals navigate the facility safely and efficiently. The representative promotes a positive experience by providing courteous, professional service and responding appropriately to individual needs and requests.
DUTIES:
Greets patients, family members, visitors, and staff entering the facility and provides assistance based on individual needs. Provides accurate directions and information to help patients and visitors locate departments, services, and other areas within the facility. Assists individuals with requests for medical records, including completing required forms and facilitating requests for appropriate information. Provides wheelchair assistance to patients and visitors while following established safety procedures and protocols. Communicates professionally and respectfully with all individuals, including effectively managing difficult interactions through active listening, patience, and a calm approach. Maintains wheelchairs and other assigned equipment in a clean, organized, and readily available condition. Identifies equipment or facility maintenance needs and submits appropriate repair or maintenance requests to Plant Operations. Communicates requests, concerns, or recommended changes from other departments to the appropriate supervisor while supporting effective coordination and customer service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred 1 Year of Related Healthcare Experience Preferred
