Job Description

The Patient Experience Representative position is responsible for: Serving as a representative for patients, families, and visitors to enable them to navigate their healthcare journey with ease.
Education:
GED/High School Diploma Required. Associates Preferred.
Experience Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in customer service, patient relations, or client services required. (Healthcare Preferred) Prior experience in a centralized call center environment utilizing Customer/PT Relationship management software to log interactions, track cases, and manage workflows is preferred. 1-2 years in customer service, patient relations, patient experience, or technical support (healthcare setting preferred). Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations is essential. Comfort with mobile apps and software and/or ability to learn new software and tools quickly. Ability to handle patient phone calls and turn a frustrated call into a positive experience through active listening and a calm demeanor. Comfortable pivoting between technical troubleshooting and assisting a patient with MyChart app to a sensitive in-person conversation with a patient or family who walks in to the office. Detail oriented, understanding that in healthcare, small details matter.
