Job Description

Description University Physicians Association is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Patient Service Rep position at University Internal Medicine and Integrative Health (Located within the UT Medical Center ). Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines in a very fast-paced office. This position will work closely with the physician to provide a seamless patient experience. Employee Assistance Program Fitness Center Job Responsibilities :
Greet patients in friendly and timely manner Ensure that patients complete necessary forms required for the electronic health record and billing office Maintain patient demographic and insurance information; Collect payments Ensures good patient flow through practice by timely processing of patients as they arrive at front office Answer patient inquiries regarding patient registration information or billing questions Refers patient inquiries regarding medical care or treatment to the physician Schedules patients with appropriate physician Document scanning into electronic health record Other duties as assigned Requirements What We're Looking For Excellent multitasking, time management, and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational ability At least 6 months of experience in a medical office setting In addition to traditional clinical responsibilities, this role also includes a significant amount of office-based work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting both patient care and administrative functions such as tracking metrics, managing documentation, and assisting with workflow coordination.
