Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our established dental practice. In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, ensuring smooth administrative operations and delivering exceptional patient service. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will help create a positive experience for every patient, from scheduling appointments to managing medical records and insurance processing. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and check them in efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Schedule appointments usingOpenDental ensuring optimal clinic flow. Manage patient check-out processes, including collecting payments, processing health insurance claims, and updating medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Handle incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, answering inquiries about services, appointment scheduling, and insurance coverage. Review and update patient documentation, ensuring accuracy in medical records and adherence to clinical confidentiality policies. Maintain organized filing systems for medical records and ensure all documentation review procedures are followed meticulously. Skills Proven experience in administrative support within a dental practice is preferred but not required. We can train the right candidate that has the right attitude. Proficiency with OpenDental is a plus. Knowledge of dental insurance processes including dental billing, dentalcollection procedures, and understanding of dental insurance plans such as Medicare, Medicaid for adults, PPO and HMO insurance is a plus as well. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with typing skills (10 key typing preferred). Excellent customer service abilities with the capacity to handle patient inquiries professionally while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Ability to review documentation accurately and perform detailed data entry related to clinical notes and care plans. Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Join us in delivering compassionate care while supporting the operational excellence of our dental practice! Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
