Patient Service Representative Lone Star Circle of Care - 3.0 Austin, TX Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Computer literacy Computer skills Full Job Description •Must live in Texas to be considered•We're looking for motivated, patient‑focused professionals to join our team as Call Center Patient Service Representatives . A Day in the Life of a Call Center Patient Service Representative may look like this: Provides initial customer service to all Patient Navigation Center contacts for multiple Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC) service lines Performs insurance verification or sliding fee program screenings for patients in accordance with LSCC guidelines Assesses patient requests and implied needs, using probing and clarifying questions Assists patients with scheduling, confirmations, cancellations and rescheduling of appointments We ask our Call Center Patient Service Representatives to possess a minimum of: High school diploma or GED preferred; additional work experience may be substituted in lieu of education Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs efficiently The following experience/skills are preferred: Six (6) months prior medical office or healthcare setting experience Minimum three (3) months call center experience Bilingual English/Spanish language and writing skills Key Success Factors Some key factors that will make an individual successful in this role: Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude Ability to work independently in a remote setting Comfortable navigating multiple systems during calls Dependable, punctual, and able to meet performance expectations
