Position Summary The Admissions Coordinator / Marketer is responsible for overseeing the admissions process while driving census growth through community outreach and referral development. This position serves as the primary liaison between referral sources, prospective residents, families, hospitals, physicians, and the facility team to ensure a positive admission experience and strong community presence. Admissions Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee the admission process from referral through admission. Collect, review, and process admission documentation, ensuring all required paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to appropriate departments. Conduct tours, interviews, and admission meetings with prospective residents and families. Verify insurance benefits and coordinate admission approvals when applicable. Maintain an accurate record of bed availability and daily census activity. Maintain resident waiting lists in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Assist with resident and family orientation during the admission process. Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and facility admission requirements. Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly admissions and census reports. Marketing Responsibilities Develop and execute facility marketing and census development plans. Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, physicians, assisted living communities, hospice agencies, home health providers, and other referral sources. Conduct routine field visits to referral partners throughout the community. Represent the facility at networking events, healthcare meetings, and community functions. Promote facility services and clinical programs to referral sources and community partners. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns to foster a positive referral and admissions experience. Monitor referral trends, identify growth opportunities, and provide updates to facility leadership. General Responsibilities Develop and maintain positive working relationships with facility departments and interdisciplinary team members. Maintain confidentiality of resident information and business operations. Serve as a positive ambassador for the facility in the community. Support facility goals related to census growth, customer service, and resident satisfaction. Qualifications Healthcare admissions, marketing, business development, or community liaison experience preferred. Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, home health, hospice, or hospital experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and post-acute healthcare services preferred. Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team. Positive attitude with a passion for helping others and growing facility census. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community outreach activities. Why Join Our Team?
