Job Description

Patient Care Aide Harmony Hearts Homecare Harmony Hearts Homecare is a homecare agency in Texas, dedicated to providing high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the comfort of their homes. We are committed to enhancing the well-being and quality of life of our patients through personalized and comprehensive care plans. Our team of skilled healthcare professionals works tirelessly to meet the needs of our patients and their families, fostering an environment of trust, respect, and excellence. Responsibilities Assist clients with bathing, grooming, oral care and other personal hygiene tasks Aiding clients with walking, transferring, and navigating their living spaces Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to the client's dietary needs Help clients with physical therapy exercises Feeding assistance if needed Grocery shopping or assistance shopping Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own Providing reminders for clients to take their medications as prescribed Performing light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and dusting Running errands and accompanying clients to appointments, social outings, and shopping trips
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Proven experience as a caregiver Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Respectful and compassionate Good time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if required for the role). Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and assisting with mobility.
