Experience:

2 years plus Medical Office outpatient setting required Experience/Understanding of medical insurance- working knowledge of deductibles, copay, coinsurance. Working knowledge of electronic medical records. Ability to learn scheduling software quickly and use efficiently Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, and Organization skills. Able to multi-task and keep information organized. Ability to work in fast paced environment Excellent ability to communicate with other office staff in order to keep all incoming information and therapists schedules organized and up to date.

Responsibilities:

Insurance Verification Communicate with Doctors offices Complete Therapy orders Determine payment required at time of service using Math skills Schedule appointments for minimum of 12 therapists Greet and welcome patients and parents with an upbeat and inviting demeanor Answer patient calls and parent questions Organize Office Take payments Light cleaning
