Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Massage Therapist to join our acupuncture pain clinic. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic bodywork focused on pain relief, relaxation, and overall wellness. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care in a clean and welcoming environment. Your goal will be to help patients improve their quality of life through effective massage techniques and personalized treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
Perform therapeutic massage sessions tailored to individual patient needs, focusing on pain management and relaxation. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards. Collaborate with acupuncturists, physicians, and other clinic staff to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Educate patients on self-care techniques and wellness practices to support ongoing health benefits. Document patient treatments accurately and communicate progress or concerns to the healthcare team. Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements. Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state or local regulations. Experience in therapeutic massage, preferably within a clinical or healthcare setting. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Professionalism, reliability, and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Pay:
$30.00 - $60.00 per hour
