A "Best of Denton County" winning Office is seeking an experienced (at least 1 year of experience in a similar setting) Patient Access Representatives to join our team! We work hard to play hard. This position will be located in a primary care setting and will require knowledge of phone systems, EMR use, basic insurance knowledge, computer systems, and people skills. Customer service skills and a friendly face/ smile are a must! You are the first and last face our patients see so appearance and professionalism are very important and required. This is a self-driven position that requires an abundance of multitasking. Hiring for 1 full-time, M-Th 8AM-5PM & F 8AM- 3

PM Responsibilities:

Answering phones/ scheduling appointments. Sending messages to clinical staff and/or medical providers with patient inquiries. Verify insurance coverage & eligibility. Scanning documents. Checking-in/checking-out patients. Collecting co-payments, balances, etc. Sorting faxes. Processing medical records. Simple calls to the patients and pharmacies. Any other misc. tasks that are necessary.
