Job Description We are looking for patient access representatives to be the first point of contact for our patients. To be successful, you should be able to perform administrative tasks with high efficiency while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who is compassionate and committed to helping people. Job Responsibilities
- Greeting patients
- Screening incoming telephone calls
- Assisting patients with the check-in process
- Scheduling new and established patients
- Collecting payment
- Verifying insurance
- Maintaining office files and patient records
- Maintaining patient confidentiality Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous experience working in a medical office setting preferred
- Customer service experience required
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills and phone demeanor
- Passionate about caring for and helping people
- Positive, upbeat attitude
- Team player
- Basic computer skills required
