Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures using patient management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments while maintaining accurate calendar records Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details, medical history, and personal data, ensuring confidentiality at all times Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing clear information or directing calls to appropriate medical personnel Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, document processing, and maintaining organized patient files Communicate effectively with patients regarding health policies, appointment instructions, and follow-up care needs Assist with billing processes by understanding basic health insurance policies and explaining coverage options to patients Requirements Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes Knowledge of health regulation policies and confidentiality standards (e.g., HIPAA compliance) Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks such as EMR/EHR management and patient data entry Experience using patient management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate record-keeping Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person Understanding of health insurance processes and terminology to assist patients effectively Excellent typing skills for efficient data entry and documentation accuracy This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the healthcare industry. Pay:
