Job Description

We're hiring for a Patient Care Representative for our San Marcos location at Stone Oak Allergy Allergy.

Your schedule will be Mondays through Wednesdays. Patient Care Representatives at Stone Oak Allergy are client-focused individuals that pride themselves on being reliable, and well organized. A commitment to providing high quality care, the ability to maintain relationships with; patients, medical staff and providers, as well as perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential skills for the Greater Austin Allergy team member. As a Patient Care Representative at Stone Oak Allergy, you can expect to work with today's leaders in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Supporting this team, you will find yourself; communicating with patients in-person and over the phone, scheduling appointments and injections, proactively handling accounts receivable and receiving patient payments. Patient Care Representative Education and Experience Requirements:
Provide an outstanding patient experience during all phone conversations, office visits and while responding to patient concerns or complaints Operate multi-line phone system in addition to standard office equipment (fax, copy, scan, email, etc.) Ability and willingness to cross train and support other clinical areas when necessary Maintains comprehensive knowledge of healthcare insurance and billing information; including processes and requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time throughout the day Comply with regulations, standard operation procedures and state mandated laws Document all appointment associated tasks in the Practice Management (PM), electronic medical record (EMR) and other systems as required accurately and in a timely manner (demographics, insurance information, charge slip entry, etc.) Collaboration and team-work is one of the largest components to success as a Patient Care Representative at Stone Oak Allergy.
