: The Colony, TX 75056 | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
$21/hr Monday-Friday, 10AM-7PM; training Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM for the first 4 weeks Full-time, W2 employment |

156879 ROLE IMPACT Help patients get access to the medications they need. As a Pharmacy Technician - Patient Support, you'll work with patients, pharmacies, healthcare providers, and assistance programs to resolve medication access issues and support timely prescription fulfillment. Success means providing compassionate service, accurate follow-up, and clear communication from request through resolution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a primary contact for patients needing prescription and medication access support. Coordinate with prescribers, pharmacies, and patient assistance programs to obtain medication approvals and support timely fulfillment. Handle inbound and outbound communications while maintaining patient privacy and program standards. Document interactions, track open requests, and follow up until issues are resolved. Work with internal teams to deliver a positive patient experience and improve medication access.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
Active Pharmacy Technician License or Certification valid in at least one state required 1+ years of call center experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or member support Experience supporting prescription benefits, medication access, or patient assistance processes
CLINICAL SKILL SET
Prescription and medication access support Patient assistance programs Prescription benefit programs Pharmacy and prescriber coordination Medication approval and fulfillment tracking Electronic Health Record (EHR) and pharmacy management systems Salesforce or similar CRM systems Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
PREFERRED SKILLS
Strong customer service and patient communication skills Ability to manage multiple requests and follow through on open issues Strong organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
