Job Description

​ We are seeking a motivated and dependable Patient Support Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for assisting patients over the phone, coordinating appointments, and supporting key operational and performance goals within the department. Schedule 36-40 hours per week Monday - Friday Shift times typically range between 7:45 AM - 7:00 PM Most shifts are 8-9 hours in length Primary Responsibilities Answer inbound patient calls in a professional and courteous manner Schedule patient appointments and assist with rescheduling when necessary Take detailed messages for providers and clinical staff Communicate appropriate medical and scheduling information to patients Make outbound calls to patients regarding appointments and follow-up needs Respond to patient requests and inquiries efficiently Assist in fulfilling insurance and quality measure requirements Track and support department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Maintain a strong customer service mindset while assisting patients Perform additional responsibilities as needed as the department continues to grow Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working with performance metrics and KPI tracking Bilingual candidates preferred, but not required Training will be provided for qualified candidates Compensation Base pay as listed in the job posting Commission opportunities available, paid in addition to base compensation
