Key Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks , including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support. Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration to ensure proper nutrition. Provide medication reminders and health observation , reporting changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals. Facilitate daily activities, transportation, and appointments , promoting independence and social engagement. Maintain a safe and clean environment , following infection control and safety procedures. Offer emotional support and companionship , fostering trust and client well-being. Document care provided accurately using electronic or paper records as required. Deliver 24-hour care coverage when needed, participating in overnight and extended shifts. Qualifications Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred; candidates who have not graduated can be considered . Strong interpersonal and communication skills , with ability to relate to diverse clients. Demonstrated empathy, patience, and dependability . Basic understanding of client safety, hygiene, and nutrition requirements . Ability to work flexible hours , including evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and 24-hour rotations. Enrolled in or eligible for EIT programs is a plus. Preferred Skills Experience in personal care or home health aide services. Familiarity with special needs care, dementia, or chronic conditions . Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple clients or tasks. Ability to follow care plans accurately and independently. Work Environment Work occurs primarily in clients' homes, assisted living, or community-based settings . Role may involve physical activity , including lifting, bending, and assisting clients with mobility.
