Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, developing a comprehensive understanding of their individual therapy needs. Create and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques, including exercise, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment. Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. Provide education and training for patients and their families on self-care techniques, appropriate exercises, and the use of assistive devices. Document all patient interactions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies. Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and collaboration with peers to maintain cutting-edge knowledge in orthopedic therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus Our diverse patient population includes individuals of all ages, from pediatric cases to older adults, all requiring specialized orthopedic therapy. You will work with patients who may be recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or undergoing rehabilitative care. By employing tailored treatment strategies, you will help enhance their mobility, alleviate pain, and support them in achieving their personal health goals. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic to intermediate proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems. A strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for improving patient outcomes. Preferred Experience Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred but not required. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. Familiarity with modern physical therapy techniques and modalities. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
