Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop evidence-based treatment plans. Implement innovative therapeutic interventions designed to restore function, facilitate recovery, and enhance quality of life. Provide patient education, demonstrating treatment procedures, and advising on home exercise programs. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and share insights on progress and adjustments to treatment plans. Utilize modern technology and documentation systems to track patient progress and ensure compliance with state regulations. Meet and exceed productivity and utilization goals to enhance overall business effectiveness while delivering exceptional care. Patient Population / Client Focus As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Stalwart Rehabilitation Center, you will work with a diverse patient demographic, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. You will engage with patients at various stages of recovery, assessing their unique needs and tailoring interventions accordingly. The focus will be on empowering patients to achieve their functional goals, building lasting relationships that extend beyond clinical settings. Qualifications Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program. Obtained a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, paired with a valid state license. Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships with patients, demonstrating empathy and a commitment to their well-being. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with previous experience in an outpatient environment, familiarity with orthopedic conditions, and demonstrated ability to create individualized treatment plans will be highly regarded. Experience in community outreach or wellness programs will strengthen your application, allowing you to bring additional value to patient care.
