- Rooming patients and collecting vital information prior to provider visits
- Preparing patient charts and ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
- Processing and coordinating prior authorizations for medications, procedures, and services
- Assisting with prescription refill requests and communicating updates to clinical staff
- Supporting providers and nurses with patient flow and daily clinic operations
- Managing EMR documentation and maintaining accurate patient records
- Assisting with light clinical duties and administrative responsibilities as needed
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Qualifications
- 2+ years of Medical Assistant or Clinical Support experience High School Diploma or GED required Experience working in a physician office, clinic, outpatient setting, or multi-specialty practice preferred EMR experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Passion for patient care and delivering excellent service
