Job Description
We are a well-established Foot & Ankle clinic in need of a back office medical assistant. Our clinic strives to create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere while providing excellent care. The ideal applicant is expected to have a friendly personality, be able to multi-task, be flexible and be a fast learner. Must be able to work together as part of a team while also being able to work independently. Required that applicants have previous medical assistant experience. Computer skills and professional attitude and appearance are important. We use a combined EMR and practice management software AdvancedMD. Job Duties may include but are not limited to: Greeting and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients Rooming patients and patient data entry Assisting doctor with office procedures both surgical and nonsurgical Answer phones, scheduling appointments and collecting co-pays and payments Responding/fielding patient daily questions and concerns Upkeep with daily forms and office inventory Light office cleaning
