Medical Front Desk Receptionist Dermatology & Allergy Specialists of Olympia (DASO) Full-Time | $19.50-$25.50/hour DOE Join an Established, Independent Medical Practice Dermatology & Allergy Specialists of Olympia (DASO) is seeking an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. For 25 years, DASO has been a trusted provider in the Olympia community , delivering high-quality dermatology and allergy care as a locally operated private medical practice . As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent service, enjoys being part of a collaborative team, and can confidently thrive in a busy medical office. Our front desk team plays an essential role in both the patient experience and the day-to-day success of our practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with medical office or strong customer service experience who is looking for a long-term position with an established practice. What You'll Do This is a fast-paced position with a variety of responsibilities throughout the day, including: Greeting and checking in patients in a friendly and professional manner Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments Answering and managing a high volume of incoming phone calls Processing and working patient referrals Verifying insurance information Obtaining and processing medical records Scanning and accurately maintaining documents Completing data entry and other administrative duties Communicating effectively with patients, providers, clinical staff, and coworkers Supporting your front desk team and the practice wherever needed Our phone system is busy, so attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and strong communication skills are essential . The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities while remaining professional and welcoming to our patients. Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and self-motivated Detail-oriented and organized A strong communicator Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Positive, professional, and patient-focused A genuine team player Able to learn new processes and systems Comfortable spending extended periods sitting and working on the phone Able to remain accurate and attentive while handling a busy phone line and multiple responsibilities Qualifications 2 years of experience in a medical office, clerical/reception setting, or customer service-based industry Recent medical practice experience is strongly preferred Insurance knowledge is preferred; candidates with a willingness and ability to learn are encouraged to apply Excellent office skills, including accurate typing, filing, spelling, and data entry Familiarity with Microsoft Office, email, and basic office software preferred Ability to operate standard office equipment
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds of supplies and sit for extended periods of time.

$19.50-$25.50 per hour, depending on experience

Monday-Wednesday:
6:30 AM-4:30
PM Thursday:
7:30 AM-4:30
