FT, 72 hrs/pp, 0.9 FTE; varies as scheduled. (1 Position)
Job Summary:
Interviews incoming patient or representative and enters information required for upcoming appointment. Explains hospital regulations, such as payment of accounts, and schedule of charges, rights and responsibilities, HIPAA regulations. Confirms and verifies patient insurance and or payor source. Escorts patient or arranges for escort to assigned room. Education and/or
Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. 2-3 years medical general office experience preferred. On-the-job training or formal education from 6 months to one year. Bilingual strongly preferred
Preferred:
Two to three years medical general office experience.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
$20.87-$30.19
Incentive Compensation:
