Job Description

We are a patient-centered hospital and healthcare system serving individuals, businesses and families from Jefferson, Dane, and Walworth Counties and we are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Services Department. Shift:

Responsibilities of this position include:
Knowledge in the nursing process (assess, diagnosis, plan, implement, evaluate) and follows through with interventions. Develops and carries out plan of care for patients and utilizes appropriate resources. Visually observes and interprets alterations in physiological and psychological status of all patients. Provides holistic nursing care to patients that incorporates family involvement. Reports alterations in conditions promptly and immediately to physician/family of acuity and patient's status. Documents care provided and data elements in the patient's medical record. Collaborates with members of the medical staff to provide quality patient care.
Requirements of this position include:
Associates or Bachelor's Degree Ability to effectively communicate with care team, patient and family members. Current RN license to practice in the State of Wisconsin upon hire; BLS (required);
ACLS, PALS, NRP
certification (if applicable to specialty area).
