Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Registration Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient registration processes, ensuring accurate medical records, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties Greet patients and assist with the registration process, ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately. Verify patient insurance information and eligibility, facilitating smooth billing processes. Maintain and update medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize software for data entry and management of patient information Schedule appointments for patients while coordinating with medical staff to optimize clinic operations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Organize and scan records. Requirements Previous experience is helpful, but not necessary. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. A high school diploma or equivalent.
