7:30 AM - 12:00 PM Join a fast-paced and growing pulmonary specialty practice where you'll work alongside a supportive, collaborative, and growth-minded team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) who is passionate about pulmonary diagnostics and helping patients improve their respiratory health. In this role, you will work closely with providers to perform a variety of advanced pulmonary procedures and diagnostic testing in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, thrives in a busy environment, and has strong pulmonary function testing experience. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities Perform and interpret Full Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) , averaging 8 or more studies per day Conduct Methacholine Challenge Testing Perform Maximal Voluntary Ventilation (MVV) Complete Maximal Inspiratory and Expiratory Pressure (MIP/MEP) Testing Perform Negative Inspiratory Force (NIF) Assessments Maintain accurate patient documentation and testing records Ensure quality control and proper operation of respiratory diagnostic equipment Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
What We're Looking For Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and Alabama licensure required Current BLS certification required Experience performing pulmonary diagnostics and respiratory testing preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment
