11 We are hiring experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) for a travel assignment in Mesa, Arizona . This is a great opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist who is comfortable working in a hospital environment and providing respiratory care to patients across varying levels of acuity. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across inpatient hospital settings. Assess patients' respiratory status and develop appropriate respiratory care interventions. Perform respiratory treatments and therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols. Manage and monitor oxygen therapy and other respiratory support modalities. Assist with airway management and respond appropriately to changes in respiratory status. Monitor patients before, during, and after respiratory treatments. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team. Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments, equipment, and disease management. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of respiratory assessments and interventions. Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and department policies. Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent respiratory situations. Float to other areas as needed according to department guidelines. Requirements Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Current respiratory therapy license/credentials required for the assignment. Recent acute-care hospital respiratory therapy experience. Strong knowledge of respiratory assessment, treatment, and monitoring. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team. Strong clinical judgment and communication skills. Must be comfortable working 12-hour day shifts . Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays . Must be willing to float as needed according to department guidelines . Previous travel experience is preferred. Must be available for the full contract period.
