A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a license (required for submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. 12 months gap required between for Staff at

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you're applying to.
- Minimum ICU, general floors, and ED experience required.
- Minimal NICU and pediatrics experience required, just enough to cover the ED.

Unit Details:
- Provides cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients.
- Responsibilities include assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, maintaining airways, ventilator management, intubations, and blood gases.
7 days maximum time off 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months Driver's license required for submission
Certifications:
CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification
