1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist for a day shift travel assignment requiring BLS, ACLS, and ICU/ED experience. Details Respiratory Therapy department providing cardiopulmonary services to inpatients and outpatients Covers ICU, general floors, and ED with minimal NICU and Pediatric exposure Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week 13-week assignment duration Requirements Current BLS and ACLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent experience in respiratory therapy required Registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care License required if applicable No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas Maintain airways, manage ventilators, perform intubations, and draw blood gases Follow protocols approved by medical staff and department policies Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered for this position RTO requests must be less than one week Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
