Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Travel Discover the vibrant city of Aurora, CO, nestled just outside Denver, where you can immerse yourself in stunning mountain vistas, a lively arts scene, and countless outdoor adventures. As a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you'll not only experience Colorado's breathtaking landscapes during your downtime but also work in a dynamic 240-bed facility with exposure to the latest equipment, including PB 840 ventilators in a technologically advanced ICU and NICU setting. This role invites you to collaborate with a dedicated team of 15 respiratory therapists, gaining valuable insight into a variety of workplace practices and leadership styles. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll hone your clinical skills, broaden your scope of expertise in NICU and ICU care, and build a standout résumé that sets you apart.
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible scheduling options 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months recent acute care hospital RRT experience Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications CRT or NBRC credentials
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with Meditech EMR Experience in PICU and/or NICU settings
Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapies and perform ventilator setups Assist with intubations, ABG analysis, and patient/staff education Deliver competent care in ED, Pediatrics, ICU, NICU, and Med-Surg units Take an active role in therapy and ventilator liberation—especially in high-acuity areas Practice autonomy within a collaborative, team-oriented environment
