Full Job Description Job Summary:

Respiratory Therapist (Registered) position located in a pediatric hospital setting. This role involves providing respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including neonatal and pediatric patients, with an emphasis on pediatric experience, including NICU and emergency department care. The assignment is for a 13-week period, starting October 6, 2026, and ending January 9, 2027, with night shifts scheduled from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Required Qualifications:

Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary, a minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience, NICU or ICU experience (Level III or IV) at least 2 years, emergency department experience, valid licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP, and previous travel experience

Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty (NPS) certification

Additional Information:

Environment involves working in a small unit with a broad skill mix, supporting up to 6 ventilated NICU patients. Strong teamwork and collaboration are essential, along with a supportive attitude toward teaching and mentoring, including supporting RRT students. No RTO (Request for Time Off) will be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment. Seasonal influenza vaccination is required, with exemptions accepted for medical and religious reasons.
