A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist in the Colorado area. This full-time role involves performing and scoring sleep studies in a hospital setting, with responsibilities that include setting up and downloading home sleep studies for outpatients. The position requires coordination with the clinical team to ensure quality diagnostics and patient care.

Schedule:
Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
RPSGT certification required, Associate degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred, BLS certification through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date, previous sleep lab experience, professional affiliations and additional skill registration preferred.
Additional Information:
Travel to the facility requires a permanent address at least 75 miles away from the hospital. Agencies must register in the Colorado system to facilitate employment, with instructions provided for out-of-state agencies. Ensure accurate Social Security Number and date of birth information is entered in the system to prevent onboarding issues.
