Job Summary Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a pediatric care setting. This position involves independently providing respiratory care, pulmonary, and cardiology diagnostic testing to pediatric patients across various healthcare environments. The role requires technical expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Details Schedule:

Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications:

Associate or technical degree; proof of passing the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); current license in state practiced, including Blood Gas Technologist certification in Nevada if applicable; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; knowledge of clinical techniques, applications, and equipment with at least one year of clinical experience; valid drivers license for in-home care settings; Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card if working for in-home care/hospice.

Additional Information:

The incumbent will perform all basic modalities of respiratory care, manage mechanical ventilators, assemble and maintain medical equipment, and perform pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing. Responsibilities include patient assessments, evaluation of responses to treatment, documentation, and communication with the healthcare team. Supervisory duties may be assigned.
