What they do
A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Description
Enterprise Float Pool Pay and Benefits:
Base rate $75.00/hr + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials Must be available to travel to all facilities (Colorado, Western Kansas, and Utah) For Enterprise Pool Tier 3/Systemwide hires, dependent on location individual assignments may qualify for a $2,500 payout each. Certified/ Licensed Respiratory- Must have current state Licensure (RLT) in applicable state of employment. Must have CRT by NBRC. Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support

- Current ACLS certification from upon hire or obtain within 6 months of hire (for locations in Kansas, ACLS is required within one (1) year of hire/transfer date). Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Current PALS certification upon hire or obtain within 6 months of hire for St. Anthony North Health Campus, St. Francis Medical Center, St. Mary Corwin, St. Thomas More, Mercy, Longmont, St. Anthony Summit, St. Elizabeth, Bob Wilson, St. Catherine Dodge, St. Catherine Garden City, Penrose. Neonatal Resuscitation Program
