Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) BLS certification (required), ACLS preferred At least one year of recent experience in acute care or hospital respiratory therapy Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, evidence-based respiratory care to patients in various clinical settings Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to implement and evaluate respiratory care plans Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as ventilator management, airway care, and pulmonary function testing Contribute to unit safety and patient education initiatives Document thoroughly and participate in interdisciplinary rounds
